The founders of Aqua Clean Tas have been involved in the aquaculture industry in the Huon Valley since its humble beginnings. Originally famed for apple growing, the Huon Valley has evolved into a hub of aquaculture supplying farmed seafood to far away markets from its location in the southern hinterlands of Tasmania.
Leveraging 38 years of industry experience, the founders vision is to build on the success of the aquaculture industry in the Huon Valley region through manufacture of net cleaning systems that surpass existing standards for supply to the global market.

Aqua Clean Tas commitment to ongoing research and development has paved the way for net cleaning systems that surpass performance norms of all others.
Leveraging new technologies and processes, Aqua Clean Tas Tassie Devil cleaning system utilises hydraulic propulsion to thrust propeller styled scrubbing blades against fouling. The net result is a more efficient, more reliable and greener cleaning system than all others in the market, particularly those utilising traditional methods of high pressure water and scrubbing discs.
Co-founder, Tim Ford has committed the company to ongoing research and development to extend the Tassie Devil cleaning system to all cages and netting configurations.
This flexibility of design allows Aqua Clean Tas to innovate for other aquaculture markets, net configurations and environments.
